BEFORE YOU BUY

Buying, editions and delivery checks

Separate a campaign listing from stock, checkout and delivery promises.

QUICK ANSWER

The Kickstarter campaign’s funding period ended July 23, 2026. Its Order Now link leads to Hive. When checked on October 12, Hive still displayed late-pledge options; that observation does not establish stock, successful checkout or a delivery date for a new order.

The current position

The Kickstarter campaign’s funding period ended July 23, 2026. Its Order Now link leads to Hive. When checked on October 12, Hive still displayed late-pledge options; that observation does not establish stock, successful checkout or a delivery date for a new order.

Start with the official MinaLima campaign, its FAQ, and the campaign-linked Hive project.

Separate the questions before comparing prices

Question What to check on the seller’s current page
What am I ordering? Exact edition, base game contents, optional extras and language.
Can I actually order? Current checkout access and destination eligibility, rather than a visible listing alone.
What is the full cost? Item price, mandatory shipping, taxes and any import charges.
When is it expected? The estimate for this edition, this sales channel and this order date.
What happens if plans change? Current cancellation, return and refund terms before payment.

A cheaper headline price is not necessarily a cheaper delivered order. No checkout, shipping quote or purchase was completed for this guide.

What the campaign’s timeline does and does not mean

The campaign FAQ described an estimated October 2026 base-game schedule and March 2027 for Collector’s Box items. It also distinguished selected House of MinaLima retail availability from autumn 2026 and wider retailer supply in 2027. These are published plans, not guarantees for a new order or every country.

Do not merge a backer fulfillment estimate, selected-store date and wider retail release into one certain worldwide release date. Read the latest official update and seller terms that apply to the order you are considering.

Compare editions without inventing a price winner

Use the base-game components reference as a starting inventory, then check the seller’s edition-specific list. Collector extras, optional upgrades and regional bundles must not be silently treated as identical products.

This guide does not maintain a verified, like-for-like retailer price table. It therefore does not name a cheapest seller or present an active-looking pledge tier as an in-stock retail offer.

Is it a good fit for your table?

The published specifications are two to five players, ages thirteen and up, with a listed duration of ninety minutes. One player must run Dark Arts, while the houses pursue individual victories. These are useful requirements to check against your group before reading subjective reviews.

  • Do you want a physical tabletop game rather than a downloadable RPG?
  • Is someone happy to learn and run the opposing role?
  • Will your group enjoy individual house objectives alongside a shared threat?
  • Have you allowed time to learn the rules, in addition to the listed game duration?

These are buying questions derived from the format and rules. They are not tested recommendations about difficulty, balance or long-term replay value.

Common buying mistakes

  • Treating an ended crowdfunding campaign as an active funding round.
  • Comparing a base game with a bundle containing different extras.
  • Treating a backer estimate as a guarantee for a new retail order.
  • Forgetting destination-specific shipping or import costs.
  • Taking a campaign review as a finished-product playtest.

The official next step

Check the campaign-linked ordering page, then confirm all material terms before making any commitment. This guide is neither the seller nor an official support channel.
